Groceries keep getting more expensive. Where is it all going?

You buy food with good intentions. Then half of it hides in the back of the fridge until it's trash β€” and you never really know what any of it cost.

πŸ’Έ

Mystery spending

You know the total at checkout. You have no idea what a single home-cooked meal actually costs you.

πŸ—‘οΈ

Silent waste

The average household throws out hundreds of dollars of food a year β€” expired, forgotten, doubled-up.

😩

"What do I even make?"

A full fridge and still no plan β€” so you order takeout, and the good food spoils anyway.

Three numbers that change how you shop

PantryOS puts the money front and center β€” not buried in a settings menu. (Example figures shown.)

$2.80
cost per meal, tonight
$312
food spend this month
$34
wasted this month

It runs your kitchen on autopilot

Ingredients leave your pantry, nutrition logs to your day, and low items hit your shopping list.

Watch your cost per meal, monthly spend, and wasted dollars β€” and actually shrink them.

Five apps in one

You're currently juggling a pantry app, a recipe app, a calorie tracker, a grocery app, and a budgeting spreadsheet. PantryOS is all of them β€” talking to each other.

Calorie & macro tracking

A full food tracker β€” cook a recipe or snap a photo of any meal and your calories, protein, carbs, and fat log themselves.

πŸ‹οΈ

Your health goals

Set a weight, calorie, or macro target and PantryOS steers your meals toward it β€” a fitness food tracker built into your kitchen.

πŸ›’

One-tap grocery ordering

Out of something? Reorder it straight from your shopping list through your favorite delivery service β€” no retyping.

πŸ’΅

Cost & waste tracking

See cost per meal, monthly food spend, and the dollars you're throwing away β€” the money nobody else shows you.

Recipe apps tell you what to cook. Calorie apps make you log everything by hand. PantryOS remembers what you own, tracks what you eat, hits your health goals, reorders what you're out of, and shows what it all costs β€” one app, all connected, automatically.

Early questions

You're seeing this early β€” here's the honest state of things.

Is the app available yet?

Not yet β€” we're building it now, which is exactly why we want you on the waitlist. Early members get first access and help shape what we build.

How does it track cost and waste?

It captures prices from your receipts and barcodes, then calculates cost per meal as you cook and flags the dollar value of anything that expires unused. The goal is to make the money impossible to ignore.

Do I have to log everything manually?

No β€” that's the whole point. Stocking is a quick scan, and cooking a suggested recipe updates your pantry and nutrition in one tap. You can also snap a photo of any meal to log it.

Does it work as a calorie counter / fitness food tracker?

Yes. It's a full food tracker β€” set a weight, calorie, or macro goal and log every meal (by cooking, barcode, or photo). The difference is you're not typing everything in by hand, and it knows what's actually in your kitchen.

Can it order my groceries?

Yes β€” when you're low on something, you can reorder it straight from your shopping list through a grocery delivery service, without retyping your list.

What will it cost?

There'll be a genuinely useful free version, with a low-cost subscription for the automatic cost/waste tracking and smart features. Waitlist members will get a founding offer.

Which phones?

iPhone first. Android is on the roadmap once the core app is solid β€” join the list and we'll tell you when.

Stop feeding the trash can. Start early.

Be first in line when PantryOS opens β€” and help decide what we build.

No spam. One email when it's ready. πŸ”’
